Brooklin’s Favorite Hair Products

Before I cut my hair short, I pretty much had long hair my ENTIRE life. After I cut it, I had to relearn how to style it completely. It was SO different. Here are the products I currently use:

1. Brass Off Matrix Purple Shampoo

My hair is naturally very golden blonde, therefore it picks up yellow tones easily. I keep my hair bright blonde by using this specific purple shampoo. I have tried many, but this is the absolute BEST!!!

2. Batiste Dry Shampoo BARE

This is one of my favorite dry shampoos out there!! Regardless if I just washed my hair or if I washed it 3 days ago, I use dry shampoo just about every day. It helps keep my hair full and bouncy. My hair is pretty heavy, so dry shampoo at my roots helps to keep them lifted. This is lightweight and doesn’t “cake” into your roots or turn your hair white!

3. Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

This product is another I use to keep my roots lifted and curls bouncy. This texturizing spray gives my hair texture and also keeps my curls “piecey” instead of all my curls turning into one. It’s a little pricey, but one bottle has lasted me over a year!! A little goes a long way!

4. Conair Taper Wand

My number one question: What do I curl my hair with? THIS. I have honestly had this wand since high school. Old trusty. It is PERFECT for my short hair. The taper of the want can give your curls a little edge. Bigger curl at the top, smaller at the bottom..

PRO TIP: don’t wrap your ends all the way around the barrel. Leave an inch or so off the wand to give the piece a straighter end. THIS is what makes my curls!
