HOW TO MAKE DISTRESSED HEM JEANS

I love distressed clothing because of the laid back feel that it gives. Distressed hems have become very popular. You don’t have to go out & spend a bunch of money to be trendy.

Trim a regular pair of jeans to the length you want. Keep in mind that they can come out a bit shorter than expected. If you start with less, you can always take off more. Just cut a horizontal line across the bottom of your jeans.

Make vertical cuts all the way around the hem. The skinnier that you make the cuts, the better.I made my cuts about an inch high. You can go even higher if you want for a more distressed look.

Wash & dry & done!
